EZ NoDowntime Peel + Cold Laser

The EZ No Downtime chemical peel + cold laser refers to a gentle skin rejuvenation procedure that does not require a significant recovery period. Unlike traditional chemical peels and lasers that may cause visible peeling, redness, and downtime, the EZ No Downtime Peel followed by a cold laser is summer safe and allows individuals to resume their normal activities immediately after one 15-minute treatment.

1. Skin Preparation: Before the peel, you'll cleanse your skin and remove any makeup or oil. The aestheteician will then apply astringent to remove any left over debris or oils and prime the skin for treatment.  Occlusion areas are protected.

2. Peel Application: A mild chemical solution, containing alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), is carefully applied to your skin. These agents work by exfoliating the outermost layer of dead skin cells, promoting cell turnover, and stimulating collagen production.

3. Duration: The peel solution is left on your skin for 3-5 minutes.  Skin is observed and we can then apply a second layer.  Solution is then neutralized and gently wiped off.

4. Cold Laser: LLLT or photobiomodulation pulsed light then treats the skin for non-thermal (cold) photons to cause ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which stimulates cellular metabolism.  This enhances the regeneration of tissue and helps produce collagen. 

5. Soothing Agents: To minimize any potential discomfort or redness, soothing agents including moisturizer and SPF with zinc are applied.

6. Post-Treatment Care: After the combo treatment, your skin may appear slightly flushed, but this usually subsides within a few hours.  Always avoid prolonged direct sun exposure, use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, and always apply sunscreen.  Treatment is summer/sun safe and can be done weekly.
