Benefits:

  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production: Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries to the skin, which triggers the skin's natural healing process. As a result, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that provide structure, firmness, and elasticity to the skin. Increased collagen and elastin can help improve the overall texture, tone, and firmness of the skin.

  • Reduces the appearance of scars: Microneedling is particularly effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, and other types of scars. By promoting collagen production and breaking down scar tissue, microneedling helps to smoothen and improve the texture of the skin.

  • Diminishes fine lines and wrinkles: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The production of collagen and elastin helps to plump the skin and improve its elasticity, thereby reducing the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines.

  • Improves skin texture and tone: The micro-injuries created during microneedling encourage the shedding of dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new skin cells. This process can lead to a smoother, more refined skin texture and a more even skin tone, reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation or uneven skin coloration.

  • Enhances absorption of skincare products: The microchannels created by microneedling facilitate the deeper penetration of skincare products into the skin. As a result, any serums, growth factors, or other topical treatments applied during or after the procedure can be more effectively absorbed, maximizing their benefits for the skin.

  • Minimally invasive with little downtime: Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that typically requires little downtime. While your skin may appear slightly red and sensitive immediately after the treatment, the recovery time is generally short. Most individuals can resume their normal activities within a day or two, although specific aftercare instructions provided by the skincare professional should be followed.

A collagen induction therapy treatment  (micro needles gently gliding across the skin to create micro sized controlled injury).  Along with a blend of copper peptide infused hyaluronic serums, our signature microneedle dual modality is designed to naturally plump and rejuvenate skin back to its collagen producing strength.   As the skin heals, fine lines are filled and tightening occurs.  All microneedle treatments include a 20 minute photodynamic red light treatment to assist in cellular circulation, blood flow and expedited healing.

  1. Consultation: First, we'll have a consultation to discuss your skin concerns, goals, and any pre-existing skin conditions. We'll assess your skin and determine if microneedling is suitable for you.

  2. Cleansing and numbing: On the day of the procedure, we'll thoroughly cleanse your face to remove any makeup, dirt, or oils. Then, we'll apply numbing cream to your skin to minimize any discomfort during the treatment. The cream usually takes around 20-30 minutes to take effect.

  3. Preparation of microneedling device: Now, we'll prepare the microneedling device. We'll ensure that the needles are clean and sterile. Microneedling pens are equipped with disposable needle cartridges that we replace for each treatment to maintain hygiene.

  4. Microneedling procedure: Once your skin is numb, we'll start the microneedling procedure. We'll gently glide the microneedling pen or roller across your skin in different directions, creating microscopic punctures. We'll adjust the depth of the needles based on your skin type and concerns.

  5. Serum application: As we create the microchannels with the microneedles, we'll also enhance the absorption of topical serums or growth factors. After the microneedling process, we'll apply a soothing serum or a specially formulated product to nourish and hydrate your skin.

  6. Aftercare: After the procedure, your skin may appear slightly red or irritated, similar to a mild sunburn. We'll apply a calming mask or cooling gel to soothe your skin. We'll provide you with specific aftercare instructions, such as avoiding direct sunlight, applying a gentle moisturizer, and using sunscreen to protect your skin during the healing process.

  7. Recovery and results: The recovery time varies from person to person, but most individuals experience redness and mild skin sensitivity for a few days. Over time, as your skin heals, you may notice improvements in the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and texture. We usually recommend multiple sessions for optimal results, spaced a few weeks apart.
